The WTA Hansen Memorial Library offers a number of services to the community. Below you will find a list of many of our offered services.

We are closed for the following holidays: New Years Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Day, Columbus Day, Presidents Day, Veterans Day, Patriots Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, July 4, and Christmas Day

What we can offer you!

Books On Tape For the visually impaired or for those who like to just relax and listen to a book; we have a selection of books on tape that you might want to consider.

Special Classes Do you like to knit? On Tuesday evening a group meets from 5:30 – 7:30pm.

Children’s programs: We offer different programs throughout the year. Ask the librarians or contact us for more information.

Wednesday cribbage: Bring a friend or just come on in and play some cribbage from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Coffee will be available.

Large Print Books We offer a selection of books in large print making it easier for the visually impaired to enjoy. We get a selection from the Maine State Library every few weeks. Please talk to the librarians or contact us for more information on this service.

Computer Services We have free public access computers and offer wireless connections for those wishing to use their own computers. All the computers offer internet connections, a good selection of children’s educational programs, and our card catalog.

Do You Need A Place To Hold A Special Meeting? We offer free space for small groups to meet. For more information just ask the librarians or contact us.

Interlibrary Loans If you want a specific book and we don’t have it, we can borrow from other libraries. Just ask the librarians or contact us for more information.
